Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ Lands $100 Million Deal with SiriusXM
Alex Cooper, the host of the second-most-listened-to podcast on Spotify, Call Her Daddy, has secured a groundbreaking $100 million deal with SiriusXM.

Alex Cooper, the host of the second-most-listened-to podcast on Spotify, Call Her Daddy, has secured a groundbreaking $100 million deal with SiriusXM. This new agreement gives SiriusXM exclusive rights to ad sales, distribution, and content, as well as live events, starting in 2020. Additionally, SiriusXM will gain access to shows produced by Cooper’s production company, Unwell Network, which is behind popular podcasts like Hot Mess with Alix Earle and Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy.
Under the terms of the deal, Call Her Daddy will be available ad-free to SiriusXM's Podcasts+ subscribers, with exclusive content streaming starting next year. The podcast, which has consistently ranked as one of the top shows on Spotify, was the second-most-listened-to podcast of 2023, behind only Joe Rogan’s The Joe Rogan Experience. It also holds the title as the largest podcast targeted at women. By Q2 2020, Call Her Daddy was ranked as the fourth-biggest podcast in the U.S., according to Edison Research, trailing only Rogan, Crime Junkie, and The Daily.
SiriusXM is also hoping to leverage the Pandora acquisition to expand its reach and grow Cooper’s fanbase, with a strong focus on providing new content for her loyal listeners. Cooper, who ranked 12th on Forbes' 2023 list of top-earning creators with an estimated $20 million, expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, "We're always coming up with new ways for the Daddy Gang, and having SiriusXM will keep finding new ways to iterate and offer the best for my listeners."
This deal marks a major shift after Cooper’s 2021 $60 million agreement with Spotify, which made Call Her Daddy an exclusive show on the platform for three years. Earlier this year, SiriusXM also secured a deal worth over $100 million for the podcast SmartLess, hosted by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.
Cooper launched Call Her Daddy in 2018 alongside her original co-host Sofia Franklyn. The podcast quickly gained popularity with its unfiltered take on relationship and sex advice, especially after signing with Barstool Sports. Following a departure from Franklyn due to contract disputes, Cooper continued to grow the show’s fanbase with high-profile celebrity guests like Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Christina Aguilera.
Beyond the podcast, Cooper has expanded her brand, including hosting a show with NBC for the Paris Olympics called Watch with Alex Cooper and taking Call Her Daddy to Paris this summer for a series of segments, including an interview with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
